Library Hub Discover update

On Friday 19 April, we took Jisc Library Hub services offline for urgent maintenance.

That maintenance was successful and as of Tuesday 23 April, Library Hub Discover has been back up and running albeit with some intermittent performance issues. We continue to monitor the service closely.

Thank you for your patience while this essential and urgent technical work was carried out. We apologise for any inconvenience the service outages may have caused.

It is important to note that there is no evidence of a malicious attack and no data has been lost or taken from the Jisc NBK or associated Library Hub systems beyond that which we would normally expect in standard operations.

The system changes mean that users of Library Hub Cataloguing will need to update their Z39.50 configuration as a matter of urgency. Users will be contacted over the next week to advise on the changes that need to be made, and when they need to be actioned by to avoid loss of service. Users of the Library Hub Cataloguing website will be unaffected by this change.
